Year 6 to 7 NON-LOCAL enrolment
For non-local enrolments please download and view the non-local enrolment form. Your primary school will inform you of key dates when this is due. For further information please contact the office staff at Greystanes High School.
Steps for non-local enrolment:
- Complete Non-Local enrolment form
- Include copies of your child's Year 5 report
- Include copies of your child's NAPLAN report
- Provide supporting documentation and evidence for your application.
School contributions
In NSW public schools, all financial contributions are voluntary. Every student has full access to the curriculum, regardless of whether contributions are made.

How to Apply for High Potential and Gifted Education (HPGE)

If your child is currently in Year 6 and demonstrates the talent, skills, and enthusiasm needed to succeed in this challenge, we encourage them to consider this opportunity through submitting an application by completing this Google Form.
Applications close Term 4 Week 2, Friday 23rd October, 2026.
You will be asked to provide the following:
- Year 5 Reports and Year 6 Half Yearly Reports
- A recent photo of your child (used to help identify them on Testing Day)
- Year 5 NAPLAN Results
- Evidence of any relevant external competitions or certificates
- Any other relevant information, including 2 samples of your child's best work from subjects that demonstrate literacy, numeracy, and 21st century learning skills
- A 1 to 2 minute video of your child responding to the following question:
"How has your learning enabled you to make a positive contribution to your school or community? Share an example."
Shortlisted applicants will be invited to a Testing Day, where students participate in written assessments and a collaborative learning challenge, giving us the opportunity to see those cross-curricular skills in action in a real and dynamic setting.
