Booking online parent-teacher interviews

This page contains instructions for making online parent-teacher interview bookings through the Greystanes High School parent portal.

Having a problem? Try these troubleshooting hints.

1. Log in to the parent portal

To access parent-teacher interview bookings, you need to have registered on the portal. You can do this by following the instructions for registering on the Sentral portal.

2. Click Parent Teacher Interviews

From the left-hand-side menu, click Parent Teacher Interviews to start the process.

3. Press Select Timeslots

A summary of the interview session is shown, press Select Timeslots.

3. Select timeslot for each class

This page shows the student's subjects/class/teacher. For each teacher you want to meet select the desired (available) timeslot. Scroll down to see all subjects.

When complete, ensure you press Save Bookings.

5. Confirmation summary

A list of your confirmed bookings will appear.

Please check your selections.

Changes can be made, up until bookings close, by returning to Step 3 above, Press Select Timeslots.

For online bookings: if interviews are being held online (via Zoom) a Join button will appear next to each appointment. Click this link at the time of your appointment to be taken to the teacher's online interview room.

6. Confirmation email

You will also receive an email (to the email address registered on the Portal) with a summary of the interview times. If interviews are being held online, this email will also include a Join link to use at the time of the interview.

Troubleshooting Parent Teacher Interview bookings

  1. Ensure that you have access to the email address associated with your account. (For example, if you used your work email address and have changed jobs)
    A confirmation of interview times will be sent to your email address.
    If you no longer have access to the email address you used on the Portal:
    1. Register on the Sentral portal with your new email address (instructions here).
    2. Contact the school to update your email address in the school's records and request a new Access Key to the Sentral Portal for your students(s).
  2. If you have forgotten your password, request a link to reset your password, this will be sent to your email address. (Your new password must have a minimum of 8 characters)
