The learning centre (TLC) is run after school on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the library from 3pm to 4:30pm.
Students are provided with a healthy afternoon tea and rewarded at the end of each term for regularly attending.
Students have free access to the computers and the benefit of a teacher who is able to assist them with any class tasks or assignments.
The aims of the learning centre are:
- to provide a quiet environment where students and especially seniors can do purposeful study or revision.
- to allow students who have received N award letters for incomplete work to use TLC as part of their program to redeem the missing tasks.
- to provide an appropriate space and equipment for students who may not have access to these at home.
- to offer assistance to students who need extra help with homework, classwork or assessments.
